John has over 24 years accounting experience within
financial services. This is predominantly with
insurance brokers, but had some early experience
with stock brokers NCS Investments Ltd and The
Investors Compensation Scheme.
In 1991 John joined Lloyds Broker,
Harris & Dixon (Insurance Brokers) Ltd as an
accounts technician. Whilst at Harris & Dixon
John studied for the Chartered Institute of Management
Accountants exams passing the finals in 1997. During
this time John gained valuable experience and was
promoted to Management Accountant in 1994, acting
Corporate Accountant 1995 to Corporate Accountant
in 1996.
In May 1998 John joined Besso as
the Corporate Accountant. Since which time he has
fulfilled various roles of Company Secretary and
Director within Group Companies and was elected
to the Board of Besso Ltd as Finance Director in
early 2005.
