Andy has over 30 years experience in the insurance
industry starting in 1980 with Alexander Howden
Insurance Brokers as a broker assistant.
In 1982 Andy moved on to the production side dealing
with policy wording and then into claims in 1984.
Here Andy dealt with all areas of non marine North
American business including Casualty, Property,
Professional Indemnity and Reinsurance. The same
year was appointed an Assistant Director.
In 1985 joined JH Minet & Company
Limited dealing with Professional Indemnity claims
which included all classes of business including
Lawyers and Accountants Errors and Omissions.
In July 1985 Andy became Besso's first employee.
Andy worked as Senior Claims Broker and was made
Divisional Director in 1989.
In 1995 Andy was made a Board Director and took
on the responsibility of all North American claims
within the group with a team of 20 people.
Andy now works as Claims Director
with additional responsibilities of Facilities
and Risk Management duties.
